Trou à Diable Fall

Poirier Road - Bouillante

Voir le trajet

Nestled in the heart of the Bourceau River Valley, the Trou à Diable Fall is a true natural gem, renowned for its wild atmosphere and the impressive rock faces that surround the site.

The hike begins on an easy trail, lined with forest and farmland, offering a pleasant and accessible approach. However, a gate may sometimes be closed, limiting access depending on conditions or regulations in effect.

The second part of the trail becomes more challenging: steep slopes and more technical sections require caution. As you approach the waterfall, the path becomes paved, with an iron ladder to assist with the final descent.

The site is also used for drinking water collection, which explains the presence of large pipes along the route.

Upon arrival, the scenery is spectacular: a waterfall nestled between high rock walls, creating a unique, almost mineral-like atmosphere. The pool offers a refreshing swim in cool, invigorating water.
